CTOnews.com, July 18, Tesla showed off a brand new V4 super charging post at the Goodwood Speed Festival in the UK last week, with the biggest highlight being equipped with a credit card reader.

Tesla Owners UK found a credit card reader on the V4 super-charging pile and a payment screen to display information such as amount, suggesting that the V4 super-charging pile will support credit card payments in the future.

CTOnews.com Note: Tesla car owners want to use the super charging pile network, which can only be activated through its application. Currently, V2 and V3 charging posts are not equipped with any credit card readers.

With Tesla gradually opening its charging network to non-Tesla car owners and introducing credit card payment scheme, it can further enhance the popularity of charging network.
