Yang Liwei revealed that China is currently developing a new generation of spacecraft, which is expected to fly from 2027 to 2028.

Now our spaceship has the carrying capacity of three people and can send three astronauts into space and return to the ground. In the future, the new generation of spacecraft will have the capacity to carry four to seven astronauts. Manned landing on the moon will also use a new generation of spacecraft to build our space station and deep space exploration.

He said that some time ago, the re-entry module of the new generation of spacecraft had been tested, which was "very successful."
