This may be one of the main reasons why Apple starts with titanium mechanism when it uses 3D printing technology.

Guo Mingyi also said that 3D printing is an additive production, which is less wasteful compared with the subtractive production of CNC. Titanium parts produced by 3D printing are more cost-effective because of the higher unit price of titanium.

Guo Mingyi said that the Magic V2, the world's thinnest folding machine just released by Glory, also uses 3D printing technology. Titanium shaft cover can reduce the thickness and improve the strength at the same time. Glorious 3D printing suppliers are IPG Photonics (laser zero components), Golden Sun (surface treatment) and Platinum (3D printer manufacturer).
