CTOnews.com July 17 news, according to Godson official news, recently, Rust open source community released version 1.71.0, to achieve the Dragon Architecture (LoongArch) instruction set native support.

Longxin Zhongke said that in the previously released version 1.70.0 of Rust, the Rust open source community merged the initial support patch set for loongarch64-unknown-linux-gnu compilation targets and began to provide initial Tier3-level support for Dragon architecture. The release of Rust 1.71.0 will increase support for dragon architecture to the Tier2 level, a development that marks that the Rust open source community, like other mainstream instruction set architectures, will natively build and release binary versions of dragon architecture. Dragon architecture open source ecological construction has once again taken a solid step forward.
