Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, July 16 (Xinhua) Nissan recently informed Japan's Ministry of Land and Transport that it recalled 484025 electric vehicles of three types (including recycling and free repairs) because of the risk that the engine might not work.
▲ Tuyuan Nissan's website covers "Note", "Serena" and "Kicks" models, covering 484025 electric vehicles produced between August 25, 2016 and March 23, 2022.
CTOnews.com learned from the official announcement that the air-blowing hoses of these vehicles' electric engines were defective in design and that the size of the protector to prevent hose surface deterioration was insufficient, which would lead to cracks on the hose surface that was not covered by the protector during the use of the vehicle. Officials say the worst-case scenario is that the engine will not start properly and the motor in operation will stop running, causing the vehicle to suddenly lose power while driving.
Nissan said that as a measure to improve the problem, all gas hoses involving vehicles will be repaired and replaced free of charge.
The official announcement also said that the problem led to a total of 53 failure reports, but there have been no accidents.
