CTOnews.com, July 16, 343 Industries announced a partnership with Mod team Digsite to reproduce the E3 Demo of Halo 2 and 3 and include it in Halo: petty Officer Collection, which can be updated free of charge.

Halo: petty Officer Collection is a game collection featuring the first four works of the Halo series, developed by 343 Industrial Studio and released in November 2014. Although the initial release status is not good, but after many subsequent updates, the game experience has been greatly improved. Currently, the game includes everything from Halo: battle Evolution to Halo 4, with multiple optimizations, more than 120 multiplayer maps, improved forging mode, and seasonal content. Although the scale of the update has decreased over the past year, 343 Industry continues to hold community activities and share its latest project news.

343 one of the industry's most recent projects is to work with Digsite, a Mod production team, to reproduce the classic "Halo 2" and "Halo 3" E3 demonstrations into the new content of "Halo: a collection of sergeants". CTOnews.com noted that these demos were presented at the E3 Game Show in 2003 and 2006, respectively, showing game graphics and features that were not yet completed at the time. In a blog post called "Digsite Discoveries", the 343 industry and Digsite team revealed that they are working together to restore and reproduce the old content in these presentations and make them available to all players in the form of free updates.

According to the Digsite team, the development process involves rebuilding and reproducing game elements that are not in the final version, including skies, vehicles, in-game areas, and various textures. At present, the 2003 E3 demonstration of Halo 2 is nearing completion, and the 2006 E3 demonstration of Halo 3 has been successfully reproduced.

The Digsite team confirmed that the scene demonstrated by Halo 3 E3 could be played through completely from beginning to end. However, more time and polishing are needed before it can be released as a free update to Halo: a Collection of Chief Sergeants.
