Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, July 16 (Xinhua)-- China plans to land a Chinese man on the moon for the first time by 2030, and is currently preparing relevant technologies and plans.
Zhang Hailian, deputy chief designer of China's manned space program, attended the Ninth China (International) Commercial Aerospace Summit Forum this week, at which he delivered a keynote report entitled "General considerations for the Development of China's manned Lunar Exploration." and introduced China's preliminary plan for manned landing on the moon.
China's lunar lander consists of a lunar module and a propulsion module, which can deliver two astronauts to the lunar surface, he said. The manned lunar rover weighs about 200 kilograms and can carry two astronauts.
In addition, the lunar suit being developed in China adopts a semi-hard configuration, with a single working time of not less than 8 hours, and has the ability to support astronauts' lunar extravehicular activities, such as operation, walking, climbing, squatting, driving, man-machine cooperation, and so on.
According to him, the current preliminary plan for manned landing on the moon in our country is:
Two carrier rockets are used to send the lunar lander and the manned spacecraft to the lunar orbit for rendezvous and docking, and the astronauts enter the lunar lander from the spacecraft.
After that, the lunar lander is separated from the spacecraft and will descend and land on the lunar surface separately, and the astronauts will land on the moon to carry out scientific expedition and sample collection.
After completing the established mission, the astronauts ascended to the lunar orbit on the lander, rendezvous and docking with the spacecraft, transferred lunar samples to the spacecraft, separated the spacecraft from the lander, and carried out lunar-to-earth transfer back to Earth.
In order to accomplish this task, Chinese researchers are developing equipment such as the long March 10 carrier rocket, a new generation of manned spacecraft, lunar lander, and manned lunar rover.
According to the data released by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the long March 10 manned rocket will be used to send lunar landers and lunar spacecraft into the earth-moon transfer orbit, liquid oxygen liquid hydrogen kerosene propellant with a total length of about 88.5m and take-off mass of about 2187 tons. the take-off thrust is about 2678 tons, and the carrying capacity of the earth-moon transfer orbit is not less than 27 tons.
The helpless push configuration derived from the long March 10 can carry out space station astronaut and cargo transport missions, with a total length of about 67 meters, a take-off mass of about 748 tons, a take-off thrust of about 873 tons, and a carrying capacity of no less than 14 tons in low-Earth orbit.
▲ Tuyuan China Aerospace Science and Technology Group in addition, at the end of May this year, the China manned Space Engineering Office announced the "announcement on soliciting the development plan of the manned lunar rover" to solicit the development plan of the manned lunar rover for the whole society.
According to the plan of the manned lunar exploration project, Chinese will land on the moon for the first time by 2030, during which two astronauts will drive a manned lunar rover to carry out scientific research activities. According to the current mission design, the manned lunar rover will have the functions of manned ride, lunar surface movement, positioning support and safety assistance, which can provide astronauts with mobile, communication, detection assistance and other functions.
