At that time, Wang Chuanfu, chairman of BYD, signed a memorandum of understanding with Moroccan Minister of Industry and Investment Moulay Hafid El Alamy and Moroccan Minister of Finance Mohamed Boussaid in Casablanca.

As of June 2023, BYD has sold more than 4.6 million new energy vehicles worldwide, set up more than 30 industrial parks worldwide, and produced new energy vehicles in more than 70 countries and regions and over 400 overseas cities.
