CTOnews.com July 15 news, ASRock released earlier this year the W790 WS motherboard is now on the shelves in JD.com, the price of 7699 yuan, slightly cheaper than the Asustek 8999 yuan W790-ACE.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, ASRock W790 WS is highly optimized to support Wmai 2400 series processors and compatible with WMui 3400 series processors, supporting up to 56-core processor models with 112 threads. The W790 WS provides 8 DDR5 RDIMM slots, supports four-channel memory and 2DPC design, and has a maximum installation capacity of 2TB and supports ECC memory.

In addition, the W790 WS motherboard supports the PCI-Express 5.0specification, with four PCI-Express 5.0x16 slots and one PCI-Express 4.0x16 slot, four sets of Blazing M.2 SSD slots (PCIe Gen5 x4) to support the highest 128Gbps transmission speed, with two sets of USB4 / Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, support for 40Gbps speed and PD 3.0 fast charging technology, and a set of U.2 mini SAS (SFF-8643) interfaces. The W790 WS motherboard also supports the ASRock Blazing Quad M.2 SSD PCI-Express x16 expansion card with four built-in M.2 25110 slots (PCIe Gen5 x4) with a cooling design. The W790 WS is equipped with dual 10 GbE wired network ports + 2.5 GbE wired network ports and a built-in 2T2R Wi-Fi 6e wireless network module to provide Gigabit-level wireless transmission speed.
