CTOnews.com, July 15 (Xinhua) Lawrence Helib (Lawrence Hryb), director of network programming for Xbox Live games, recently announced his resignation from Microsoft through a personal tweet after 22 years in office.

Photo Source: WikiMedia Helib, whose online name is Major Nelson, is one of the celebrities of the Xbox team. Helib joined Microsoft in 2001 as editor-in-chief of MSN Music and joined Xbox two years later.

During his tenure as senior product manager at Xbox, Helib focused on building the Xbox Live community experience, was a key contributor to features such as the Xbox Achievement system and party chat, and became Senior Director of Corporate Communications in 2021.
