The car positioning "pure electric hard SUV", relying on the four major technology areas of Chery Group and S5X electric platform, equipped with i-MS multi-Rubik's cube new energy architecture, and i-VA ecology, using intelligent real-time electric four-wheel drive, all-aluminum body structure and integrated die-casting longitudinal beam, as well as all-aluminum H-arm suspension, high bionic seats and large-size shock absorber software.

According to the declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chery iCAR 03 body size is 4405 × 1910 × 1715mm, wheelbase 2715mm, equipped with Ningde era lithium iron phosphate battery, and packaged by Qida Power, with panoramic skylights and rear seats.

The car has a total of 1679kg, 1775kg, 1800kg, 1892kg four kinds of quality, can be installed with different specifications of wheels / tires; single motor version power is 135kW, dual motor version is 70kW+135kW.

According to Chery's official preheating, the iCAR 03 is also equipped with a solar charging system, which integrates solar panels in the front hatch and roof skylights to provide additional electricity for the vehicle as a solar module. Officials say that in the Shanghai area, for example, on-board solar energy may provide a range of more than 2000 kilometers for vehicles throughout the year, while external solar energy may provide vehicles with a range of more than 7000 kilometers for the whole year.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, Chery unveiled the iCAR brand in April this year, anchoring the new youth market, covering cars, SUV and other products, providing intelligent solutions for system scenarios, and positioning to cut into the 150000-300,000 yuan passenger car market.
