Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of the clues about the past and the trumpet of a salted fish. CTOnews.com July 14 news, Volkswagen Group website today released the June 2023 delivery data.

In June, Volkswagen delivered 847600 vehicles worldwide, up 5.7 per cent from a year earlier, of which delivery in China was 291400, down 14.5 per cent from a year earlier.

From January to June, Volkswagen delivered 4.3722 million vehicles worldwide, an increase of 12.8 per cent over the same period last year. Of this total, delivery in China was 1.4519 million, down 1.2 per cent from the same period last year.

Volkswagen said it delivered 321600 pure electric vehicles (BEV) to customers in the first six months of this year, compared with 217200 in the same period last year. In Europe, the group is the market leader in pure electric vehicles, with deliveries rising 68 per cent to 217100 (128900 in the first half of 2022), while orders in western Europe remain at around 200000.

Hildegard Wortmann, a member of the sales expansion Executive Committee of Volkswagen Group, said: "Volkswagen Group sales of pure electric vehicles increased by about 50% in the first half of this year, and Volkswagen Group is systematically continuing its transformation. We are the market leader in Europe, and customers showed some negative sentiment at the beginning of the year due to reduced subsidy programs and long waiting times, but we have seen an improvement in orders here again since May. In view of the recent significant reduction in delivery times, we expect this positive trend to continue in the coming months. "

Volkswagen also said that in china, delivery of pure electric vehicles in the first half of the year fell about 2% from last year's level to 62400 units in an unusually competitive market environment.

About 68 per cent of the group's pure electric vehicle deliveries are in Europe, followed by China (19 per cent) and the US (9 per cent), and 4 per cent go to other markets.

CTOnews.com summarizes the most successful Volkswagen pure electric models in the first half of 2023 as follows:
