The Tianlong-3 rocket has a diameter of 3.8 meters, a total length of 71 meters, a take-off mass of 590 tons, a take-off thrust of 770 tons, a low-earth orbit capacity of 17 tons and a sun-synchronous orbit capacity of 14 tons. The rocket adopts more than 30 new technologies, such as stainless steel 3D printing engine, liquid nitrogen vaporization supercharging, supercooled liquid oxygen, supercooled kerosene, pneumatic separation and so on. At the same time, the first child of Tianlong 3 is equipped with grid rudder and recycling legs, which can be reused and can be returned independently.

It uses the Tianhuo 12 liquid oxygen kerosene rocket engine developed by Tianbing Science and Technology, with a single sea level thrust of 110t, which is the largest thrust liquid rocket engine in China. At present, many long-distance hot test runs of the whole system have been completed.

According to the official website of ▲ Tuyuan Tianbing Science and Technology, the Tianlong-3 rocket plans to complete its maiden flight in May 2024, with a commercial launch capacity of more than 30 rounds a year. In the face of satellites weighing 300kg to 500kg, the Tianlong 3 rocket can carry 30 to 60 satellites at one time, and the launch cost can be effectively reduced to the price level of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket.

According to previous reports by CTOnews.com, in April this year, the Tianlong II medium liquid carrier rocket independently developed by Tianbing Science and Technology succeeded in its maiden flight, breaking the world-class space "curse" that private liquid rockets have failed in their first flight for more than 20 years.
