CTOnews.com, July 14, Microsoft pushed KB5028185 cumulative updates to Win11 during this month's Patch Tuesday event, and users upgraded the version number to Build 22621.1992.

CTOnews.com queried the Reddit community and Twitter social platform and found that some Win11 users reported that after installing KB5028185 cumulative updates, the running speed and boot speed of PC became slower.

One Reddit user expressed his dissatisfaction in his post:

KB5028185 cumulative updates are rubbish. It usually takes only four and a half seconds to restart and boot before I install, but now I have to wait 17 seconds on the welcome page. The shutdown time is obviously lengthened, but I didn't time it.

Another user reported that running games and applications became stuttered after installing the update.

In addition, some users reported that the network was cut off after installation, and one user replied:

After the installation, my network card stopped working, and after I uninstalled the KB5028185 update, I finally got back online.

In addition, users reported that although the network was not disconnected after installing KB5028185, the Wi-Fi performance connection was limited and could not maintain a stable connection.
