On the afternoon of July 8, 2023, JD.com Yun Wubao detected a batch of problems with the first generation of equipment, such as missing App, abnormal or missing intelligent acceleration service, and so on. After the failure, the team immediately started the troubleshooting program to confirm that the cause of the failure was caused by the employees of third-party service providers taking advantage of their duties to maliciously sabotage the applications on the first-generation wireless Baoyun platform and routing ROM. After determining the cause of the failure, JD.com Yunwubao team immediately organized technicians to repair it, and contacted the supplier to seek more effective recovery means, as the damage to the program and data was so serious that it was difficult to recover in the short term.

Since July 10, 2023, JD.com Yunwubao has made every effort to organize internal technical personnel to repair service procedures and data recovery, as well as initiate legal proceedings on the behavior and serious consequences of third-party service providers, and pursue the legal liability of service providers.

Officials say the current router network can be used normally, and the use of wireless networks will not be affected. As for the follow-up treatment, officials said: "due to the sudden occurrence of the incident and the complexity of the problem, the team is evaluating the follow-up treatment plan and will announce it in time after the final confirmation."
