Based on the cooperation agreement, Great Wall Motor's products will be locally produced at ADM Automobile Factory in Uzbekistan, which plans to produce tens of thousands of Haval brand units by 2024.

According to the official micro-introduction of Great Wall Motor, Uzbekistan, as the second largest automobile market in Eurasia, is a successful model of the transformation from planned economy to market economy. The automobile market has gradually opened up from closed country, and the market development potential is huge.

Great Wall Motor said that at present, the company's market layout in Central Asia is gradually sufficient. In addition to Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan markets, Uzbekistan will comprehensively promote in-depth development as the third and most heavyweight Central Asian automobile market and accelerate the globalization process of Great Wall Motor.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Mu Feng, president of Great Wall Motors, said at the 2022 annual shareholders 'meeting: "In 2024, the company will make full efforts in PHEV and BEV markets, striving to achieve sales volume of 1.9 million units and net profit of 7.2 billion yuan."
