CTOnews.com, July 13 (Xinhua)-- the Nasdaq Stock Exchange has issued an official announcement that The Trade Desk will be added to the Nasdaq Index from next Monday, July 17, to replace Activision Blizzard. Activision Blizzard shares will be delisted before the market opens on Monday, July 17.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) needs to obtain a court decision to extend the restraining order by 3 p.m. on July 16, and if the court fails to make a decision before then, Microsoft may complete the deal with Activision Blizzard next Monday or Tuesday without a restraining order.

Still, it is difficult to confirm that the record acquisition worth $69 billion (CTOnews.com Note: about 494.73 billion yuan) has been settled. This morning, Beijing time, FTC announced that it would appeal the case again to prevent Microsoft from acquiring Activision Blizzard.

It is worth noting that in addition to the United States, the British Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has not given up blocking Microsoft acquisitions. Today, however, the UK's CMA said a restructuring deal between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard could allay its concerns, marking a concession to UK opposition to the largest gaming deal in history.
