CTOnews.com, July 13 (Xinhua)-- earlier this year, LG Electronics unveiled a 97-inch Signature OLED M3 TV (model: 97M3) at CES, claiming to be the world's first consumer TV product using Zero Connect technology.

LG Electronics said the TV will be available soon. It is reported that the product started pre-sale in South Korea today, officially launched on the 20th, and then successively landed in North America, Europe and other global markets.

Unlike a traditional TV, all the inputs used to connect external devices are located on the back or side, and it is equipped with a separate "zero connection" box that wirelessly transmits 4K 120Hz video and audio signals to the screen within 10 meters.

The Zero connection box is equipped with multiple interfaces, including common HDMI, cable / satellite set-top boxes and game console interfaces, and can be connected wirelessly to compatible bar speakers.

It also uses the wireless AV (audio, video) transmission solution independently developed by LG Electronics, which can achieve up to three times the speed compared to the Wi-Fi 6 solution, and also supports the latest Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

LG Signature OLED M will be sold in all major markets around the world, starting from South Korea, North America and Europe. In addition, LG Electronics will give away LG Standby Me screens to customers who buy through advance bookings.

It is said that in order to commemorate the launch of the new product, a discount worth 3 million won (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 16740 yuan) is offered to all buyers, and the initial price in South Korea is 4390 million won (currently about 245000 yuan).

It is worth mentioning that the 83max 77-inch OLED Evo (model: 83/77M3) TV with 4K / 120Hz wireless transmission scheme will also be on the market, with initial prices of 1450 million won (currently about 80910 yuan) and 1040 million won (about 58032 yuan) respectively in South Korea.
