CTOnews.com, July 13 (Xinhua) developer Ricky Mondello recently found that after installing a new version of macOS Sonoma, users can use Apple's password manager on browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

After Mondello ran the latest beta macOS Sonoma update, it was found that iCloud Keychain could be used on non-Safari browsers to automatically fill in passwords and CAPTCHAs, and these third-party browsers also supported saving these new passwords.

The iCloud password allows you to fill in the password from the iCloud keychain when you log on to the website in Chrome.

The iCloud password is a Chrome extension for Windows users that allows you to use the same strong Safari browser password you created on iPhone, iPad, or Mac when accessing a website in Chrome on Windows PC.

The iCloud password also saves any new passwords you create in Chrome to the iCloud keychain, making them available on the Apple device.
