The front and back of Nothing Phone 2 are made of Corning gorilla glass. Scratches only occur when scratched by hard objects of Morse hardness level 6, which is a normal performance. The camera hole on the screen, the main camera on the back and the flash are also protected by glass. The fingerprint sensor is also very strong and can work even if it is badly scratched. The OLED screen can also return to normal quickly after the appearance of a white spot with less flame burning, without functional damage.

Nothing Phone 2 performed a little worryingly in the bend test. When bending from the front, the phone is obviously bent, and some parts are separated at the antenna. Fortunately, however, the phone didn't break in the end.

However, the IP54 protection level of Nothing Phone 2 may not protect the machine from water and dust. If you accidentally drop your phone into the water or take it to the beach, you may get hurt. Compared with the IP68 rating of most high-end flagship phones, the phone provides minimal protection. Therefore, when using Nothing Phone 2, be careful not to take too many risks, especially to avoid contact with water.
