CTOnews.com July 12 news, Canon Marketing Japan (Canon MJ) today unveiled a conceptual model of the mask noise reduction device "Privacy Talk". The device can be used for network video conference in an outdoor noisy environment without worrying about the interference of the surrounding environment.

▲ ichikara Lab recommends that the device is designed in a similar mask + headset shape and is equipped with headphones, microphones and fans for ventilation. While the sound made by the wearer is clearly recorded by the microphone, it is also isolated by the mask so as to avoid being heard by the crowd around it.

In addition, the device will also filter the ambient noise and improve the radio quality so that other conference participants can hear the speakers clearly.

Canon Marketing Japan says the device can be used in a variety of situations, not only in business scenarios, but also in private situations. The company's goal is to "support a variety of online communication methods adapted to the new normal".

CTOnews.com learned from an official introduction that the device was developed by ichikara Lab, the first internal start-up for Canon Marketing in Japan, and did not disclose a specific timetable for commercialization.
