Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens Wu Yanzu in South China for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com news on July 12, the 9th China International Commercial Aerospace Summit Forum was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province today. China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation announced at the forum that it has officially launched the construction of an ultra-low-orbit integrated constellation, which can provide users with minute-level real-time remote sensing information response.

According to reports, the ultra-low orbit integrated constellation plans to complete the launch of the first satellite this year, and the launch of the 9-star business verification cluster in 2024. In 2030, the constellation size will be expanded to 300 satellites, with 15-minute emergency response capability.

After the first satellite is successfully put into orbit, it will demonstrate and demonstrate the key technologies such as ultra-low orbit flight technology, high-resolution ground imaging technology, spaceborne intelligent processing, information direct to the user terminal and so on.

CTOnews.com Science Popularization: an ultra-low earth orbit usually refers to an orbit at an altitude of 150km to 300km. Compared with the traditional orbit, ultra-low orbit flight can improve the load efficiency, reduce the cost of satellite development and launch, and improve the efficiency of information acquisition and transmission, which is suitable for satellite batch production and high-density launch.

For example, for the visible light load, the focal length and aperture of the camera obtaining the same resolution image are basically reduced proportionally because of the relatively short distance from the earth surface. For microwave remote sensing load, the power aperture product decreases greatly with the decrease of orbit height, which can effectively reduce the power and electrical aperture of antennas such as synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).

At present, the United States, Japan, Europe and other countries and regions have respectively carried out ultra-low orbit satellite research, the United States has put forward the "Devil Fish" program for high-score observation; Japan also launched ultra-low orbit test satellites in 2017 to obtain high-score remote sensing images and ultra-low orbit atmospheric data; in 2009, the European Space Agency launched gravity field and steady-state ocean current detectors, and obtained high-precision gravity field measurement data.

Ultra-low orbit satellites have obvious application advantages in optics, microwave, geophysical field, ionosphere and so on, but ultra-low orbit satellites have not been developed for a long time, mainly because the atmospheric density increases sharply with the decrease of orbit. the orbital environment is more and more obviously affected by the atmosphere, the atmospheric resistance perturbation and the high concentration of atomic oxygen environment have a prominent impact on the satellite, so the stable operation of ultra-low orbit satellite is very difficult.
