CTOnews.com July 11, Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth revealed in a question and answer session on Instagram that the battery life of Meta Quest 3 is "roughly the same" as that of Quest 2. He also said that, like cash head show, the battery life of the Quest 3 depends on the user's use, and Meta has been looking for ways to improve the battery life.

The Meta Quest 3, a virtual reality headset to be launched by Meta, will have higher performance and resolution than the Quest 2, starting at $499.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 3615 yuan). Quest 2 is one of the most popular virtual reality headsets on the market, which can connect wirelessly to computers or mobile phones, or run applications and games independently. The battery life of the Quest 2 is about 2 to 3 hours, which varies depending on the function used by the user.

Bosworth answered all kinds of netizens' questions about Meta Quest 3 on Instagram, one of which was about battery life. "the battery life of Meta Quest 3 is roughly the same as that of Quest 2, more or less," Bosworth said. "I think we can always continue to improve (battery life), and of course it will vary depending on the use you use."

Bosworth also confirmed that despite the upcoming release of Meta Quest 3, Quest Pro will receive new software updates and improvements over time. Meta recently released an update that improves the performance of CPU and GPU on Quest 2 and Quest Pro.
