1. Light sources are classified according to light sources, which can be divided into natural light and artificial light.

The biggest advantage of artificial light lies in its stability and controllability. We can control the light effect by adjusting the light angle and intensity. In the low light environment, it is a good choice to choose artificial light to supplement light.

two。 The direction of light is classified according to the direction of light, which can be divided into smooth light, backlight, photometry, side light and side light.

(1) Shunshun is the light from behind the lens, that is, the shooting direction is consistent with the direction of light projection.

The advantage of shun light is that the light is more uniform and the brightness is sufficient, but the contrast is not strong enough, which is not conducive to shaping the contrast of light and shade, and the three-dimensional sense is not obvious enough. Shunguang is suitable for the normal shooting of most scenes.

(2) backlight is the light from the front of the lens, that is, the shooting direction is opposite to the direction of light projection, facing the light source.

The advantage of backlighting is that it can enhance the sense of atmosphere and texture.

When we shoot a portrait against the light, the outline of the character will be lit up.

Backlight can well show the texture of objects when shooting transparent and translucent objects.

Backlighting is also suitable for shooting silhouette effects.

(3) the side light is the light from the side of the lens, that is, the shooting direction is perpendicular to the light projection direction.

Side light is also a kind of light that we often use. Its advantage is that it is suitable for shaping the contrast of light and shadow and expressing the texture and texture of objects.

However, there will also be uneven light and excessive contrast.

(4) side shining means that the light comes from the oblique rear of the lens, that is, adjust the angle in the direction of shining.

Side shun light combines the advantages of smooth light and side light, which makes up for the shortcomings of both. It can not only ensure a uniform light, but also create a certain contrast and three-dimensional sense of light and shadow, and also show the texture of the object.

When we find that the effect is not good when we use side light and side light, we can adjust the shooting angle and use side light to shoot.

(5) the backlight on the side is that the light comes from the oblique front of the lens, that is, to adjust a certain angle in the direction of the backlight.

The characteristics of the combination of side backlight and side light can not only show the sense of atmosphere and strong contrast, but also avoid excessive contrast and large-scale glare.

In our daily shooting, in fact, the pure backlight angle is not used very much, because it is more difficult to grasp, the shooting effect is not necessarily good, slightly adjust the angle to choose side backlight, but sometimes the effect is better.

3. Light intensity is classified according to light intensity, which can be divided into strong light and weak light. The transition in the middle is normal light, and it is also the light we see and use most every day.

(1) intense light refers to high-intensity light, such as noon sunlight, lightning, searchlights and so on.

This kind of light is generally not suitable for shooting, because in strong light, the shadow is heavy, the contrast is too strong, the lack of excessive, improper operation is also easy to harm the equipment and people themselves.

(2) weak light refers to low light intensity, weak light, such as night, indoor with curtains drawn, candlelight, dim light, etc., can also be regarded as weak light.

Weak light is suitable for creating a sense of atmosphere, a soft feeling, and a sense of mystery.

4. Light hardness is classified according to hardness, and light can be divided into hard light and soft light.

(1) hard light refers to the lack of transition, the small boundary between light and dark light, we usually say "light board sky", refers to the outdoor light is strong, high hardness. The hardness of light is not only related to the source of light, but also affected by the angle and distance we observe.

The environmental light created by hard light has strong contrast and lack of detail, so it is generally not suitable for shooting, but hard light can also show a sense of strength.

(2) soft light refers to light with obvious transition and blurred boundary between light and dark, such as evening sunlight, candlelight and so on.

Soft light is very suitable for portraits, because the light and shade are too soft and can create a romantic atmosphere.
