CTOnews.com July 11, Microsoft today informed users who are still running Win11 Version 21H2 that the version will be discontinued (EOS) in three months, that is, October 10, 2023.

Microsoft, which released the Win11 21H2 update in October 2021, is now urging users of Home, Professional, Professional Education and Workstation Professional to upgrade as soon as possible and not to push security updates after October 10 this year.

"Enterprise devices running Win11 21H2 Home Edition, Professional Edition and non-managed status will be automatically updated to 22H2 from January 2023," Microsoft said on the Windows health dashboard.
