This research institute is the sixth research institute of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, which aims to focus on the development of integrated circuit industry in Anhui Province, promote original innovation, technological innovation and industrial personnel training, and fill the gap of new R & D institutions in the integrated circuit field of Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center.

Anhui University said that the research institute will further promote the deep integration with head enterprises and large courtyards, jointly tackle key technologies, and promote technological innovation in the integrated circuit industry. At the same time, we will support innovation and entrepreneurship with core technologies as the source, take the initiative to undertake the transformation of major achievements of the Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, and play a leading role in promoting the high-quality development of the integrated circuit industry. The school will take the unveiling of the research institute as a new starting point, continue to promote the research and development of chips with higher integration and smaller size, strive to solve a number of key core technical problems, and build the research institute into a "strong engine" for innovation in the integrated circuit industry.
