CTOnews.com, July 11 (Xinhua) Microsoft began cracking down on simulators on its Xbox Series S | X game console in April, but developers have found a new way to install and run simulators, bypassing Microsoft's official store policy.

According to foreign technology media Ars Technica, developers launched the Patreon page, UWeaPons Store, and players only need to pay $2 a month (CTOnews.com Note: about 14 yuan) to install simulators such as Dolphin (GameCube / Wii), XBSX2.0 (PlayStation 2), Xenia (Xbox 360) and RetroArch (multiple old game consoles).

A developer who identified himself as SirMangler created the Xbox simulator collection. He led the team to create a new package from scratch and stripped off as many identifiable elements as possible, allowing players to download and install the simulators.
