Prior to acting president of Boeing China, Liu led Boeing Commercial Aircraft Group's flight services business, managing nearly 5000 employees at 15 training centers around the world.

With an MBA from Seattle University and a BS in Finance from Eastern Washington University, Shelliga previously served as vice president of civil flight services for Boeing Commercial Aircraft Group, where she led nearly 5000 employees at 15 training centers on six continents. Xie is responsible for implementing Boeing's strategy in China, supporting new business and partnerships, corporate social responsibility-related efforts, and expanding Boeing's relationships with stakeholders in China.
