CTOnews.com, July 10 / PRNewswire-FirstCall-Asianet /-- the rating website Metacritic (M site) recently released the media rating of the alien horror survival game "Grey Mountain incident (Greyhill Incident)", with 38 points for PC and 26 points for PS5. The score also made "Grey Mountain incident" break the record of 38 points in the PS5 version of Lord of the Rings: Gollum, making it the worst game so far this year.

IGN gave the game a score of 3 out of 10 and rated it as "a boring horror game that screwed up everything from stories to stealth". IGN believes that the pointless repetitive tasks in the game are neither surprising nor fun, and stresses that the game dialogue is poorly designed, as if they were made of "low-performance AI chatbots."

God is a Geek gave the game a score of 2 out of 10, and the media pointed out that the game was not effective in combat, and that AI enemies sometimes knew immediately where the player was, but sometimes they were completely unaware of the player even in the same environment. The media also said that the way of hiding in the game is not well designed, even if players hide in trash cans or simple toilets, they can not clearly sense whether they are hidden enough.

The average player seems to agree with these reviews, with a user rating of only 2.3. The Steam score is "mixed", with a positive rating of only 40 per cent.

One Steam player said: "this is one of the worst games I have ever played. I have no sense of direction at all, but dozens of little aliens are chasing me. Then the game suddenly becomes a shooting game, you have to defeat the aliens, but there are very few bullets. What players can do now is to cultivate patience and make themselves (all-inclusive) saints, because no update can solve the problem."

CTOnews.com checked the Steam page and learned that "Grey Mountain incident" was released on June 9 and supports simplified Chinese. Officially, this is a story-driven survival horror game about the classic alien invasion that took place in the early 1990s. As a revolver equipped with a baseball bat and a few bullets, the story will lead players through the gray mountain atmospheric community invaded by UFOs and gray aliens.
