Among them, Ali Pingtou and ZTE Microelectronics have expanded their orders for TSMC 7nm chips since the first quarter of this year.

According to the report, Pingtou cooperated closely with TSMC, and senior executives went to Taiwan many times to discuss cooperation with TSMC. The list began to expand in the fourth quarter of 2022 and grew quarter by quarter this year, and the order size in the second half of the year is likely to double that of the first half of the year.

ZTE Microelectronics doubled its production scale in the first quarter of 2023 and doubled again in the second quarter. It has become one of the top three customers of TSMC in the mainland market and one of the important customers of the overall HPC platform.
