The last model of the brand is the NSU Prinz 4, while the EP4 concept car is named after the abbreviation "Electric Prinz 4".

CTOnews.com learned from foreign media that the EP4 concept car was transformed by 12 apprentices from Audi factory based on a Prin Z. The 1971 small two-door sedan was originally equipped with a rear 598 cc air-cooled two-cylinder engine, which can only output about 30 horsepower. The interns replaced the old engine with a 240hp motor from the 2020 Audi e-tron, replaced the front fuel tank with a high-voltage battery pack from the Audi Q7 TFSI e quattro plug-in hybrid, replaced the chassis with a modified chassis, braking system and bearings from the Audi A1, and significantly modified and widened the body, adding a huge rear spoiler.

The car is very simple, with only a single board computer and corresponding screen as instruments and monitors, two Recaro Podium bucket seats, and an anti-roll frame. "this program gives our interns the opportunity to use different technologies and materials freely," said Timo Engler, head of Audi's training vehicle technology / logistics department. "for example, in addition to electric drives, they also use 3D printing and carbon fiber on the front hood."
