CTOnews.com noted that in an interview posted on the Ars Technica website a few days ago, Steeve Huin (Chief operating Officer of Irdeto's video game business, which Irdeto acquired Denuvo in 2018) publicly defended D encryption, saying: "players almost never get a chance to get a version of the same game with and without D encryption. Huin also revealed that Irdeto plans to provide two versions of games with and without D encryption to the public media for independent benchmark testing, which will begin in the next few months. Huin hopes the results will convince PC players that D encryption has no impact on game performance.
