CTOnews.com, July 9, Microsoft may not release Bing Chat Weekly through Bing's official blog this week because of the US Independence Day holiday, but that doesn't mean Microsoft has stopped promoting Bing chat.

Jordi Ribas, head of engineering and product at Bing, tweeted to improve the server side of the image generation tool Bing Image Creator, reducing image generation time by 30 per cent.

Mikhail Parakhin, Microsoft's head of advertising and web services, was as busy as usual this week in answering Bing Chat's questions.

Someone asked when the promised third-party plug-in support would be available. Palahin replied: "it will take a few more weeks, mainly to solve the problem of the end of the call, but I am very confident that I will be online as soon as possible."

On the opening date of the map recognition function, CTOnews.com translated Palahin's tweet as follows: "We originally planned to release it further this week, but we found a lot of irrelevant JavaScript errors in the package, so we have to delay a little bit and hope to launch it next week."
