CTOnews.com, July 8-Hewlett-Packard released the Envy x360 (15.6in) laptop in April, calling it the world's first "IMAX Enhanced" certified laptop. According to foreign media 91mobiles, the laptop will be launched soon and will be priced at less than 100000 Indian rupees (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 8750 yuan).

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the "IMAX Enhanced" certification is similar to Intel's Intel Evo project and requires strict performance standards in terms of viewing mode, resolution, color, brightness and contrast. In addition, the laptop will also support "IMAX cinema remix" to provide a fully immersive spatial audio experience.

In terms of configuration, this series of notebooks will be available with the latest Intel and AMD processors, with a 15-inch OLED touch screen.

According to public information, "IMAX Enhanced Program" is a video and sound certification program jointly launched by IMAX and DTS for home theatres and entertainment systems. It mainly combines IMAX patented post-production technology into 4K HDR video and DTS audio technology to bring customers the best quality home entertainment experience. Equipment to be certified must meet the standards set by IMAX and DTS engineers and a team of Hollywood technical experts in order to pass the test.
