Many of these removed games are low-cost or even zero-cost development games, developers choose to directly steal the digital assets of well-known games for development, and add similar names to the game title to attract and mislead players to buy and play. The names of some of these games are even more deceptive, such as "Flappy Bird" and "3D Pacman".

In addition, some games posing as official derivatives of popular IP have also been removed by Steam. For example, "Degenerate Souls", once known as one of the best alternatives to the "Soul of Darkness" series, has also been removed from the shelves by V Society, which can no longer be found on Steam.
