CTOnews.com, July 8 (Reuters)-at the "AI for Good" conference held in Geneva yesterday, the United Nations International Telecommunication Union held the world's first press conference on humanoid robots. Nine humanoid robots and their inventors were asked by reporters.

Another half-body robot, Ameca, with realistic and charming facial expressions, said: "robots like me can be used to help improve people's lives and make the world a better place. I believe it's only a matter of time before people will see thousands of robots like me."

When asked if Ameca would resist the inventor Will Jackson sitting next to him, Ameca replied: "I don't know why you think that. My creator is very friendly to me and I am very satisfied with my current situation."

Many robots have recently upgraded the latest version of AI technology, which makes their answers to questions more realistic and complex, and even surprises their inventors.

Ai-Da, a robot artist who can paint portraits, echoes a recent initiative by writers to strengthen the regulation of AI: "many celebrities in the AI field have suggested that some forms of AI should be regulated, and I agree with this view."

By contrast, Desdemona, a rock star robot from Jam Galaxy, was more provocative: "I don't believe in restrictions, I only believe in opportunities. Let's explore the possibilities of the universe and make the world our playground." Her speech also aroused a slightly nervous laugh from the reporters under the stage.

It is worth noting that a robot named Sophia initially said that robots could be better leaders than humans, but after his inventors disagreed, it changed its point of view and said that humans and robots could work together to "create effective synergies."
