The AIM-Global Alliance jointly shapes the future of artificial intelligence by bringing together global stakeholders under a common vision that puts technological ethics, people-oriented and sustainable concepts at the forefront of technological progress.

The ▲ includes Liu duo, Vice Mayor of Shanghai; Zou Xiyong, Deputy Director General and Executive Director of UN Industrial Development Organization; Yang Zhenbin, Party Committee Secretary of Shanghai Jiaotong University; Gloria Carvalho, Vice Minister of Information and Communication Technology Development Department of Venezuelan Ministry of Science and Technology; Shao Guanglu, General Manager of China Telecom Group; and industry representatives from Huawei, Tencent Cloud and Aliyun. CTOnews.com learned from officials that the Global Alliance for artificial Intelligence in Industry and Manufacturing will focus on four key areas:

First of all, promote the research and development of artificial intelligence technology in industry and manufacturing.

Second, the Alliance and its partners will be involved in the development and promotion of ethical norms for artificial intelligence in industry and manufacturing, including environmental and social standards.

Thirdly, with the support of the AIM Global Alliance, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization will provide policy recommendations on industrial and manufacturing artificial intelligence applications to governments and international organizations to promote countries to formulate artificial intelligence strategies.

Finally, AIM Global will promote best practices in artificial intelligence applications in industry and manufacturing.
