2K also announced that 18-time all-Star, 5-time NBA champion, two-time Finals MVP, two-time Olympic gold medalist, Los Angeles Lakers' historical scoring champion and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Kobe Bryant will be on the cover of the "NBA 2K24" Kobe and Black Mamba versions.

NBA 2K24 will be available in both digital and physical form: the Kobe version, the legendary Black Mamba version and the new 25th Anniversary version, of which the 25th Anniversary version will provide a 12-month subscription to the NBA Alliance pass (the service is not available in Chinese mainland).

The Kobe version sells for $70 on PS5 and Xbox X | S, $60 on Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, $100 for the Black Mamba and $150 for the 25th anniversary edition (currently about 1088 yuan).
