The situation is likely to improve, with Japanese media reports saying Fuji will optimize the supply of cameras.

Japanese photographer Kimio Tanaka posted a report on Twitter that Fuji will optimize inventory and expand production, aiming to purchase a total of 30,000 parts from 30 suppliers by the end of the fiscal year. Since October last year, the company has verified 4300 projects in eight companies and will begin full operation after confirming the effects of cost reductions such as inventory controls.

According to CTOnews.com, although Fuji cameras have been out of stock, this has not affected Fuji's revenue performance. Fuji's financial report for fiscal year 2022 showed that strong sales of Fuji's primary imaging systems and digital cameras increased overall sales revenue in the imaging sector by 23.1% year-on-year to 410.3 billion yen, while operating profit rose 97.1% year-on-year to 72.9 billion yen. In its professional imaging business, the new X-series digital camera products X-H2S, X-H2 and X-T5 (the fifth-generation latest product of the Xmai T series) have performed well and their revenue has increased significantly.
