According to the plan, starting from September 30, 2023, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. will recall a total of 83985 new strong passenger cars made by Dongfeng Nissan from May 22, 2017 to February 28, 2019.

CTOnews.com learned from the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration that the reason for the recall is that "foreign bodies may be generated inside the vehicle anti-lock braking system (ABS) actuator motors within the scope of this recall after long-term use, resulting in occasional poor conduction of brushes, causing ABS actuator failures, affecting vehicle handling performance under extreme operating conditions, and potential safety risks".

Tuyuan Dongfeng Nissan official website to solve the above problems, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. said that "free of charge for the recall within the scope of vehicle upgrade software, for the software can not be repaired, replace the ABS actuator assembly, in order to eliminate safety risks."
