CTOnews.com, July 7, the 96EU kernel display of Intel Core processors has been used for many generations, and the upcoming Ultra 1 processor is about to be upgraded. Now, the whistleblower "Moore's Law is dead" has revealed more information about the core of the Ultra 1 processor.

As shown in the figure above, the lowermost Tile on the Ultra 1 processor chip is the kernel part, which has eight Xe cores, or 1024 stream processors.

Intel calls this core display a "new leap" of low-power GPU, which uses a new low-power graphics IP, 33% more graphics core than the previous generation, optimized power consumption and chip area efficiency, and supports complete DX12 Ultimate API.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, it is reported that the GPU portion of the series of processors will be equipped with Foveros 3D cache, code-named Adamantine, and capacity 128MB. Large cache can make up for the problem of insufficient bandwidth of kernel display. In terms of performance, it is reported that it will reach the level of GTX 1650 or even RTX 3050.
