In terms of hardware, the chip uses a 32-bit RISC-V processor with DSP instructions at a speed of 125MHz, with built-in 113KB memory and 2m bit (AB5656A2) / 1m bit (AB5656C2) flash memory.

In audio aspect, the chip supports + 9dBm TX maximum output power, 16bit mono DAC (signal-to-noise ratio 102dB, with headphone amplifier output) and single-channel ADC (signal-to-noise ratio 94dB) audio codec, and supports 8/11.025/12/16/22.05/32/44.1/48KHz sampling rate.
