CTOnews.com, July 7, 2023 World artificial Intelligence Congress (WAIC 2023), the National artificial Intelligence Standardization General Group under the guidance of the State Standards Commission announced China's first large model standardization team leader, jointly served by Shanghai artificial Intelligence Lab and Baidu, Huawei, Ali, 360Group, iFLYTEK, China Mobile Research Institute and other enterprises, issued certificates on the spot and started the formulation of national standards for large model testing.

According to public data, in May this year, the state launched the standardization of large models, and the overall artificial intelligence standardization group set up a large model topic group, and initiated the declaration of the leader and deputy leader of the large model topic group, and the proposal for the topic selection of the large model standardization research. The large model task group will undertake the work of large model standardization, with the aim of promoting the combination of large model technology and standardization practice, and promoting the healthy development of artificial intelligence industry.

The declaration conditions of the team leader and deputy leader of the CTOnews.com attached large model project group:

1. The member units of the general group shall recommend experts in the field of large models within the unit to declare, and the applicant must have the nationality of the people's Republic of China, have a high political and ideological quality, and abide by the law and discipline. Have a good scientific ethics, integrity record, professional ethics and a strong sense of responsibility.

2. Have a high professional level in the theoretical research and industrial application of large models, and be familiar with the international cutting-edge scientific and technological development trend, laws and regulations, standards and norms in this field. Lead the drafting of international, national or industry standards, with working experience in large model standardization in major international organizations or standards committees is preferred.

3. In principle, he is not more than 65 years old and has the physical conditions to adapt and complete the relevant work.

At present, Baidu, Huawei, Ali, 360have made some achievements in AI big model, including Baidu Wenxin word, Huawei Pangu, Ali Tongyi Qianyi, 360intelligent brain big model and so on. Standardization will promote the further development of AI big model in our country.
