For the first aspect, users who have not purchased the Enterprise Edition can hold up to five meetings at the same time. If the number of ongoing meetings in the enterprise reaches the limit, a new meeting can be held after any one of the meetings is over. This means that if there is more meeting demand within the enterprise, it may be necessary to book or schedule the meeting in advance to avoid conflict or waiting.

For the second aspect, joining a conference across App will be adjusted to a paid function. The so-called cross-App (application) to join a meeting means that the meeting moderator and attendees use different clients to create or join the meeting. For example, the meeting moderator creates a meeting with the Tencent conference client, while the attendees join the meeting through the WeCom client, or vice versa. In this case, when both the attendees and the moderator are free users, they need to maintain the same application to join the meeting host. If there is a need for cross-application membership, you can purchase an Enterprise Edition to unlock the feature.

Tencent meeting said that the above adjustments will gradually take effect from July 6, 2023, and meetings held before that will not be affected. In order to ensure the smooth holding of users' meetings, Tencent Conference also provides a 7-day transition period, during which the maximum number of online meetings within the enterprise and the ability to join meetings across App (applications) will not be affected. Tencent Conference recommends that users choose an appropriate client to book or initiate the meeting according to their actual situation and needs, and inform participants in advance to make plans, keep the same application as themselves, or use a paid version to join.
