CTOnews.com, July 6, CodeWeavers developer Zebediah Figura submitted an initial merge request yesterday, indicating that the first step has been taken in restructuring and cleaning up Wine Direct3D "WineD3D" redundant code.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that this cleanup will reorganize and reorganize WineD3D, and ensure that background functions are isolated into their own files, avoid declaring the use of large Header files to call background functions, and help find wrongly bound functions, as well as better logical separation of WineD3D code.

The first merge request is to move the Vulkan declaration to their own wined3d_vk.h header file. As part of this code reorganization, at least two more merge requests are expected.
