CTOnews.com, July 6 (Xinhua)-- according to RUNTO's latest monthly tracking of brand shipments in China's TV market, brand shipments in the Chinese TV market reached 17.115 million units in the first half of 2023, down 0.5 percent from the same period last year.

By June 2023, the average size monitored by the Chinese market had exceeded 60 inches.

CTOnews.com with some TV brands sales in the first half of the year:

Xiaomi (including Redmi) shipped nearly 4 million units in the first half of the year, down about 2% from the same period last year.

Hisense (including Vidda) shipped about 3.8 million units in the first half of the year, up 11% from the same period last year.

TCL (including Thunderbird and Lehua) shipped about 3 million units in the first half of the year, up 23.3% from the same period last year.

Skyworth (including Kukai) shipped 2.6 million units in the first half, an increase of 13.5% over the same period last year.

The total shipments of Changhong, Haier and Konka brands in the first half of the year totaled 2.331 million units, down 26.5% from the same period last year.

For other manufacturers, Huawei shipped less than 500000 units in the first half, while foreign brands Sony, Samsung, Philips and Sharp shipped more than 700,000 units, down nearly 10 per cent from a year earlier.

According to the forecast of Loto Technology, the total number of TV shipments in China will continue to hover around 39.5 million units in 2023, barely the same as in 2022.
