CTOnews.com, July 6, Supernova Technologies recently used Unity on the Quest Pro header based on the Nova UI framework to successfully simulate the Gaze interface of Apple Vision Pro, which can achieve eye tracking.

Officials have shared a demo video that shows the performance of Apple's Vision Pro on Quest Pro headers and enables an experience based on eye gazing and gesture interaction.

The video demonstrates the use of gestures to adjust sliders, toggle buttons and resize. The demonstration is limited to Nova UI interface elements and does not fit most third-party applications. In addition, Quest Pro's gesture tracking is limited by hardware and cannot achieve the experience of Apple's Vision Pro.

The Vision Pro has a camera facing down, so you can gesture even if you put your hand on your knee or sofa. But Quest Pro doesn't have a camera facing down, so users have to raise their hands in the air to provide gestures.

You can download Nova's VisionOS demo APK on GitHub and side-upload it to Quest Pro to try. CTOnews.com note, because the Quest 2 or Quest 3 headers do not have eye tracking, the demo cannot be run on both headers.
