Douyin has issued a notice calling such anxious marketing practices a violation of platform rules, has cleaned up 961 related videos and imposed penalties such as banning publishing and restricting e-commerce rights to bring goods to 81 accounts. According to reports, during the special management period during the summer vacation, Douyin will also continue to inspect and clean up anxiety marketing-related content, and impose gradient penalties on illegal accounts.

Douyin specifically mentioned that it will also focus on the use of artificial intelligence technology to produce and publish harmful information related to minors. Through model identification, manual review and other ways to intercept and remove the shelves using "AI face change" and "AI drawing" and other technologies to generate vulgar porn related to minors, and gradient punishment related accounts.

In addition, Douyin will also strictly deal with cyber bullying and other issues that infringe upon the rights and interests of minors and involve online fraud, so as to protect the property safety and physical and mental health of minors.
