As of 15:00, July 14, changes to monthly and annual plans will no longer be accepted.

According to official information, Nintendo launched the Switch warranty service in July 2022, with a monthly warranty of 200 yen (currently about 10 yuan) and an annual package of 2000 yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 100 yuan), less than a year ago.

The paid warranty will provide a maintenance service of 100,000 yen (currently about 5010 yuan) / up to 6 times per year for Switch mainframes (and accessories) released in Japan. In the event of natural failure, water intake or damage, the maintenance cost can be reduced by subscribing to this service.

For users whose equipment has been insured, they can get a longer guarantee period by subscribing to a paid warranty.
