In the first two days of July, new energy car companies routinely released June sales figures, along with a report card for the first half of 2023.

In this hot June, the overall market ushered in a pick-up, while the sales of a number of car companies also ushered in a record high. In terms of new forces, ideal exceeded 30,000 vehicles for the first time in a single month, leading a group of new forces by an overwhelming advantage. After two months of silence, sales of Weilai also returned to the level of 10,000 vehicles. Although Xiaopeng has not exceeded 10,000, it has also made a slight improvement.

In terms of traditional car companies, BYD once again set a new high with 250000 vehicles, and GAC Ian sold more than 40,000 vehicles for four months in a row. Next, let's take a look at the specific performance of various car companies.

Ideal broke 30,000 vehicles for the first time. Since the beginning of this year, ideal cars have continuously refreshed new highs with the success of the L series, and it is the first time in June that it has broken through the 30,000 vehicles mark. In June, the ideal delivered a total of 32575 new cars, an increase of 150.1% over the same period last year. From January to June this year, the cumulative delivery of ideal cars reached 139117, exceeding the total delivery for the whole of 2022.

As for the next target, ideal car CEO Li Xiang said that in the third quarter, the goal of ideal L8 and ideal L9 is to deliver more than 10,000 vehicles per month, while the ideal L7 challenges the monthly delivery target of 15000 vehicles; in the fourth quarter of this year, ideal challenges the monthly delivery target of 40,000 vehicles.

In addition, the ideal MEGA, the first all-electric model, will be released in the fourth quarter and will be positioned as a large MPV model. At the same time, ideal started a test drive of NOA, the first city in China that does not rely on high-precision maps, in June, and delivered the function of commuting NOA to users in the second half of the year.

After being in the doldrums for two months, Weilai finally returned to the level of 10,000 vehicles in June. Weilai delivered 10707 new cars in June, an increase of 74.0 per cent over the previous month. Among them, 6383 SUV models are delivered and 4324 cars are delivered. From January to June, Weilai delivered a total of 54561 new cars.

The rebound in sales is also partly due to the adjustment of the price system. On June 12, Weilai announced a price reduction of 30,000 for all models and untied the power exchange rights from the price of the whole car, allowing users to choose flexibly according to their own needs, while lower prices also lowered the threshold for consumers to buy.

In addition, Weilai also ushered in the launch and delivery of the ET5 travel version in June, as well as the delivery of the new ES8; for the much-anticipated new ES6, the production capacity climbing was completed in June, and delivery will be accelerated in July, which will further boost sales.

Xiaopeng delivered 8620 vehicles in June, an increase of 15% over the previous month. Although there was a slight increase, it still did not exceed 10,000. However, with the launch and delivery of the Xiaopeng G6, there may be a rebound.

On June 29, the Xiaopeng G6 officially went on the market, positioning the medium-sized sedan pure electric SUV, the price range is 209900-276900 yuan, the competitor is Tesla Model Y. Xiaopeng internal G6 listing is still very confident, Xiaopeng CEO he Xiaopeng said, "Xiaopeng is confident in two months, Xiaopeng G6 to achieve 250,000 SUV sales champion."

Orders for the G6 have exceeded 35000 since pre-sale began on June 9, according to official figures. However, whether it can be converted into an order in the end remains to be seen.

Zero run reached a new high, and extreme krypton returned to the level of 10,000 vehicles in the second camp. Nezhu and Zero run sales remained stable at more than 10,000 vehicles in June, while Polar Krypton exceeded 10,000 again after a few months.

After selling 12000 vehicles in May, Zero again set a new high for the brand in June, delivering a total of 13209 vehicles, an increase compared with the previous month. Among them, the delivery of C-series models exceeded 11600, accounting for more than 87%, while the delivery volume of the main model C11 exceeded 8900, also setting a new high.

Zero-running cars completed the update of all models and price adjustment in early March this year, especially the introduction of extended-range models, which contributed to the increase in sales to a large extent. From January to June this year, Zero delivered a total of 44500 new cars, down from 52000 in the same period last year, but has maintained a trend of growth in the past two months.

Car sales in Nezha fell slightly in June, but to a lesser extent. A total of 12132 cars were delivered in June. Of these, 1201 are overseas and 1298 are delivered by Nashi GT. In the first half of the year, Nezha delivered a total of 62400 vehicles, compared with 63100 in the same period in 2022.

Like Xilai, polar krypton also returned to the 10,000-car level, delivering 10620 new cars in June, an increase of 146.9% year-on-year and 22% month-on-month. From January to June this year, a total of 42633 vehicles were delivered, an increase of 124% over the same period last year.

Delivery of the polar krypton X model began on June 12, giving a boost to sales growth. At present, the polar krypton brand only has three models: polar krypton 001, polar krypton 009 and polar krypton X. according to the plan, four new models will be added in 2024 and 2025, and eight models will be sold at the same time by 2025.

Huawei and AITO, a joint venture, did not release specific sales figures this month, but KuaiBao, who released sales, can see that Selis sold 5668 vehicles in June, down 25.99 per cent from a year earlier, while cumulative sales in the first half of this year were 25761, up 19.37 per cent from a year earlier.

BYD made history again, GAC Ean exceeded 40,000 vehicles for four months in a row.

In the traditional car company new energy sales camp, BYD is still the king, sales hit a new high in June.

BYD sold 253046 vehicles in June, up 94.25% from a year earlier, including 251685 passenger cars, up 88.2% from a year earlier, and 10536 overseas. From January to June this year, BYD's cumulative sales have reached 1.2556 million vehicles.

Among them, EV pure electric models sold 128200 vehicles in June, and DM hybrid series sold 123500 vehicles in June, both of which were basically the same. In addition, BYD Dynasty + Ocean net sold 240535 vehicles and the Tengli brand sold 11058 vehicles.

It is worth mentioning that the second model of the Tengli brand, the Tengli N7, will be officially launched and delivered on July 3, ending the current situation that there is only one MPV model, the Teng Teng D9. According to Zhao Changjiang, chief co-founder of the Teng Teng brand, the N7 has received about 24000 orders so far, and it is expected that the monthly sales of the N7 will exceed 5000 vehicles after listing, and gradually move towards the goal of 10, 000 vehicles.

Guangzhou Auto Ian sold 45013 vehicles in June, an increase of 86.7% over the same period last year. It also sold 10 more vehicles than last month, also setting a new high. Sales have been stable at more than 40,000 vehicles for four consecutive months. From January to June this year, GAC Ean sold a total of 209336 vehicles, an increase of 109 per cent over the same period last year.

In addition, Hyper GT, the first model of Hao Platinum, a high-end brand of Ian, will also go on sale on July 3 with a pre-sale price of 21.99-339900 yuan. However, at present, the volume models of the Ean brand are mainly AION Y and AION S, and it is still unknown whether the middle and high-end models with more than 200000 yuan can be successful.
